Modern education is in urgent need of support and development of the system of socio-pedagogical, psychological support of students. The growth of crime among young people, teenage drug addiction, computer addiction, aggression among students, the low level of universal values (tolerance, communication skills, culture) among the younger generation – all these problems are acute for educational institutions and society as a whole. Their solution is impossible without the professional work of specialized specialists-social educators and psychologists.

The work of the social pedagogue of kgkp "Borovsk vocational College" is carried out on the basis of the developed annual plan and a number of programs for the prevention of asocial phenomena.

The purpose of the work: to create conditions for the full development of personality, positive socialization, professional development and life self-determination of students in College, family.

Work objectives:

1. Organization of timely, comprehensive, personality-oriented, socio-pedagogical, psychological and legal assistance to students and parents, as well as adolescents "at risk" who have problems in communication, learning, development, socialization or are in a socially dangerous situation.

2. Prevention of family problems, social orphanhood, violence against adolescents and prevention of antisocial behavior, neglect, delinquency of students, promotion of HLS.

3. Increase of pedagogical and legal culture of all participants of educational process and parents.

4. Implementation of business partnership on work with families of "social risk" and children of "risk group" with the Commission on Affairs of minors and protection of their rights, Department of guardianship and guardianship, GDN.
